I offer group psychotherapy which involves between 7 - 10 people meeting once a week. Sometimes you may be also in individual psychotherapy with me although this is not essential or even always desirable. People are unique and each person has a different way of engaging with therapy. For some people attendance at the group alone is enough to do what is necessary in order to make psychological shifts. For others it is necessary to deepen their experience by having individual sessions.
Relational group psychotherapy offers the opportunity to recognise that one is not alone, problems are shared and feelings of alienation, isolation, strangeness and so on are normalised in the process of hearing, and engaging with each others emotional experience.
